占叔家境十分富裕，沉没惜妻早逝，沉没与爱女相依为命，其为人乐观，喜到夜总会跳舞。这是爱女Baby最为反对的，因此，她扮作舞小姐激老父，在夜总会，Baby被江湖大可招积持中，幸得在场中的周聪挺身而出，帮助Baby解了围，两人互生情愫。Baby利用自己的家财瞒着聪，帮他发展事业，但当聪发觉Baby是富有人家，及自己的事业是Baby暗中用金钱帮助，一时难于接受，聪究竟应如何抉择呢？

With the help of her friend Hee-suk, (Kim Suk-il) who dreams of becoming a writer, So-young fools Choi Rim (Kim Seung-ho), a lawmaker, into believing she is his daughter and moves in his house. She studies hard and becomes a lawyer. At her first trial, she defends a female inmate (Hwang Jeong-sun). Coincidentally, the story of the inmate is very much similar to hers. So-young defends her, saying how difficult it is for a woman to survive in a cold capitalism, arguing for her rights in tears. After she wins the case, she goes home and confesses her crime to Choi Rim's wife (Yu Gye-seon).
